IDX Center
What is IDX? IDX, or internet data exchange, is a system where brokers (Participants) give each other permission to display their active listings on broker and agent (Subscriber) sites. Brokers who participate in the program (opt in) may display each other’s active listings, which will be identified by a special IDX logo. If you choose not to participate (opt out), then no other broker or agent will be permitted to display your listings and you will not be permitted to display other brokers’ listings.

Consultants
The first step in acquiring IDX on your own website is to find a consultant. Below are many of the vendors who service the Internet Data Exchange program. Please keep in mind that the consultant you choose must be able to create an IDX smartframe for the data and manually or automatically update the data every 72 hours. If you are unsure, simply ask. After choosing the consultant that is right for you, fax the above forms to (925) 944-7128
IDXEZ
- IDX (Internet Data eXchange) is the method by which MLS participants and subscribers can host an MLS property search of active listings on their agent or company websites. CCAR members, participants and subscribers now have a FREE option for displaying an IDX MLS search. IDX-EZ provides the same basic MLS search as available through most vendors – but this version is FREE. The header can be customized to include agent image, brokerage image, email address, web address and more! A “no-header” option is also available.
